Where Do Inverters Fit In? (The MPPT Confusion)

Date:2026-01-26 15:21:35Author:FRECONClick:45

A common point of confusion is the difference between "Phase" and "MPPT". These refer to two entirely different parts of the system:

Phase (Single vs. 3-Phase): Describes the Output of the inverter. This must match your building’s grid connection; a single-phase home requires a single-phase inverter.

MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking): Describes the Input (Solar Charger). Its job is to maximize the DC power harvested from your solar panels, especially during low-light conditions.
